Collection: Fabramics JUNG SO HYE

Fabrics by Korean ceramic artist Jung S o H ye was born from the desire to "dress old things in new clothes. "

The techniques used to tailor cloth are applied to pottery, and the pieces are sewn stitch by stitch, based on the shapes of traditional vessels and antique objects.

The three-dimensional shape created by sewing together fabric gives it a full, voluminous appearance, including the wrinkles and distortions that occur by chance.

A mold is made based on the shape of the cloth and the piece is carefully finished into pottery.

Depending on the texture of the fabric, the type of thread, and the sewing method, each piece is born wearing a different "new garment."

The flower vase, with each blue stitch carefully hand-painted, exudes the warmth that can only be achieved through Jung S o H ye 's handiwork .
