AKO DOMAE

Born in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, and raised in Hakodate City, Hokkaido.

He was raised by his parents, both potters, and started working with clay from an early age.

I create ceramic objects and vessels inspired by Hakodate's seaside scenery, cityscapes, and travel memories.

*Each piece is handmade, so there are individual differences in shape and the flow of the glaze.

* The texture of the vessel's surface may appear different depending on the thickness of the glaze and the traces of glaze flow.

* Due to the iron contained in the glaze and clay, there may be protrusions, traces of air bubbles, black spots, brown specks, etc., but these are not missing parts and are a natural appearance.
